A new CLOUDLAB manuscript: "Chasing ice crystals: interlinking cloud microphysics and dynamics in cloud seeding plumes with Lagrangian trajectories"
The manuscript "Chasing ice crystals: interlinking cloud microphysics and dynamics in cloud seeding plumes with Lagrangian trajectories" by Nadja Omanovic et al. is now under review for publication in the Journal of Advances in Modeling Earth Systems (JAMES), also publically avaible as a external page preprint. The novel research presented in this study uses Lagrangian trajectories in a high-resolution model setup to assess cloud microphysics and dynamic influences on the seeding plumes, as compared to the in situ observations from our field experiments. The Lagrangian trajectories proved to be essential for linking cloud microphysics and dynamics.
